One Saturday, three festivals: 28 November in the south of the metro
Saturday 28 November 2026 puts three festivals in the south of Metro Manila on the same day: PLUS63 and Otherworld in Parañaque, and the Harana Acoustic Music Festival in Alabang. Two of them are neighbours in the same district. The third is a different kind of day altogether, and the honest advice is to pick well rather than aim for all three.
The last Saturday of November is the busiest festival day of the season in the south of the metro. In Parañaque, PLUS63 Festival Manila plays the Aseana City Concert Grounds and the new Otherworld Festival plays the SMDC Festival Grounds, in the same Aseana City district. Further south in Muntinlupa, the first Harana Acoustic Music Festival takes over the Filinvest City Event Grounds in Alabang. Three festivals, one Saturday, and three quite different ideas of what a festival is for.
The Parañaque pair: the big bill and the blank page
PLUS63 is the known quantity. The Cebu born festival, in its tenth anniversary year, plays its second Manila edition at the Aseana City Concert Grounds, headlined by Khalid, with Cash Cash, Wolf Alice, Kiana V, DENȲ and SHNTI on the announced bill, and tickets through Megatix with published prices from ₱3,300. One honest note on the date: this calendar carries the PLUS63 record as a tentative date, because the listing checked for it was the Megatix events index rather than a full organiser page for this edition, so its event page keeps the tentative label even though the festival's own site is built around the 28 November artwork. Check the event page before booking travel around it.
Otherworld, on the same day and in the same district, is the opposite: almost everything except the frame is still to come. Its Megatix page, which is the official listing, confirms the shape: Saturday 28 November, 3pm to 1am, at the SMDC Festival Grounds on Asean Avenue in Tambo, presented by Collective Minds, Insignia Presents and the PLUS63 team. The lineup had not been published on the page we read, and the ticket field there is a placeholder rather than a price, so there is no honest price to quote yet. You are buying the team, the hours and the late finish, and waiting on the bill.
The Alabang alternative: Harana
Harana is the day for people who like their festivals seated on a picnic mat rather than pressed against a barrier, except that it is a standing festival, and its own ticket site says so. Epic Events, the team behind the Aurora Music Festival, presents a stripped back, acoustic day at the Filinvest City Event Grounds: eleven OPM acts led by TJ Monterde, Arthur Nery and Maki, with Earl Agustin, Rob Deniel, Angela Ken, syd hartha, Clara Benin, TONEEJAY, Nicole and A!ka. The organiser's ticket page publishes the working details: gates at 2pm, general admission ₱1,000 and SVIP ₱3,000 before processing fees, printed tickets only, no re-entry, and nobody aged 12 or under, with 13 to 17 year olds admitted only with a guardian in the same section. It is a first edition, and it knows exactly what it is.
Can you chain two of them?
The Parañaque pair, in principle, yes. The two grounds sit in the same Aseana City district, a short ride apart, and Otherworld runs to 1am, so the natural split is the afternoon and early evening at one ground and the late night at the other. What cannot be done yet is the planning: neither festival has published set times, and Otherworld has not published its lineup, so the chain is a decision to make when the running orders land, not one to make now. Buy for the festival you would happily spend the whole day at, and treat a hop to the other as a bonus.
Harana, no. Alabang is a separate trip south, the gates open at 2pm, re-entry is not allowed, and the ticket has to be printed before you arrive. A festival that asks for that kind of commitment is a whole day by design. Chaining it with an evening in Parañaque would mean leaving the acoustic sets early to sit in Saturday traffic on the Skyway, which serves neither festival.
How to pick, and where to base yourself
Pick by the music. The international bill with a headliner you already love: PLUS63, tentative label and all. The late night and the surprise: Otherworld, once its lineup lands. The songs, sung quietly, by the writers who wrote them: Harana. For the Parañaque pair, base in Parañaque or Pasay and the night ends with a short ride: the Parañaque guide and the hotels page cover the bay side districts. For Harana, Alabang has its own hotels around the Filinvest grounds, covered in the Muntinlupa guide, and staying south beats crossing the metro twice in one day.
