The Philippine Women's Open is a new WTA 250 tournament in Manila, scheduled 1 to 7 November 2027, the last tour event before the WTA Finals in Charlotte. Basis: the WTA's official 2027 calendar announcement, opened in this pass, confirms a new WTA 250 tournament in Manila, and the WTA's published 2027 calendar lists the Philippine Women's Open, Manila, hard court, in week 44 starting 1 November; SPIN.ph (4 October 2026) reports the full 1 to 7 November dates from that schedule release, and the Philippine Tennis Association has previously confirmed a three year commitment. The venue is expected to be the Rizal Memorial Tennis Center, Malate, which the Philippine Sports Commission is upgrading for the country's 2027 WTA events, but the WTA calendar page opened does not itself name a venue, so the record grades expected. Note the naming split in coverage: SPIN.ph calls the event the Manila Open, while the WTA calendar itself names it the Philippine Women's Open, which is the name carried here.
