About this event
The 2027 SEA Plus Youth Games (SEA Plus YG), the inaugural edition of a regional multi sport event for athletes aged 16 and under, runs 2 to 14 December 2027 in the Philippines, with 11 Southeast Asian nations plus invited Asian countries competing across a planned 23 sports. Basis: the Olympic Council of Asia's report of the Philippine Olympic Committee launch (9 to 10 March 2026), opened in this pass, states the dates and that the Philippines hosts the inaugural edition. The four cluster set (Manila, Pasig, Tagaytay and Subic) and the use of Philippine Sports Commission facilities including Rizal Memorial and PhilSports come from Local Organizing Committee president Ramon Suzara's statements at the July 2026 executive council meeting, as reported by Tiebreaker Times; an earlier OCA coordination note named a different cluster set (Manila, Tagaytay and Clark), so venue detail is still fluid and the record grades expected.
