Luggage
Send the suitcase. Travel with a day bag.
In the Philippines a suitcase travels as a parcel, and the country is very good at parcels. LBC will collect from your door and deliver across the archipelago, 2GO Express runs first mile pick-up and last mile delivery nationwide, and both work for hotel-to-hotel, home and onward trips. This page explains how sending works here, what the published delivery windows really look like, and how to ship a bag home when the trip ends.
How door-to-door sending works here
The pattern is the same whichever carrier you use: you book with the sender, receiver, pick-up and delivery details, pack the bag securely, hand it to a rider or drop it at a branch, and keep the tracking number while the bag travels without you. For a hotel-to-hotel move, the receiver is you at the second hotel, so give the hotel's name and address and your check-in date, and warn the hotel it is coming. For a bag sent ahead to meet a flight, send it to your home or hotel, not to the terminal: the couriers deliver to street addresses, and the airport counter on our luggage storage page is for bags you carry there yourself. Keep documents, medicines and one night's essentials with you, whichever carrier you choose.
LBC: the nationwide default
LBC Express is the name most Filipinos reach for first: it has over 1,500 branches in the Philippines, partner locations overseas, and domestic shipping by branch drop-off or door-to-door delivery, with shipments moving by air, sea or land freight. Book online and enter the sender, receiver, pick-up, delivery and packaging details, then choose to pay on pick-up or at branch drop-off; for a pick-up, you hand the package and payment to the LBC rider. Same-day pick-up can be scheduled before the cut-offs it publishes, 1:00 PM in the National Capital Region and 11:00 AM in Rizal and outside the NCR, with riders collecting between 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM, and it delivers Monday to Saturday between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Its rate calculator prices a shipment by weight and size, and every shipment carries a tracking number you can follow online.
Be honest with yourself about speed. LBC's own published windows for shipping within the Philippines run from 1 to 11 days for the NCR, 1 to 12 days for Luzon, 3 to 12 days for the Visayas, 4 to 12 days for Mindanao and 3 to 20 days for the islands, so a suitcase sent between islands is a plan made in good time, not a next-day promise. For select shipments from the NCR to the Visayas and Mindanao, its LBC Rush service is the faster option it offers. Pack the suitcase as the shipment it now is: locked, labelled inside and out, with nothing on LBC's prohibited items list inside it.
2GO Express: pick-up and delivery across the islands
2GO Express is the other nationwide route: it provides time definite first mile pick-up and last mile express delivery services throughout the Philippines, serving business and consumer customers alike, moving documents and parcels across key delivery points nationwide. Its published standard door-to-door serviceable areas cover every Metro Manila city, from Caloocan and Quezon City to Pasay, Parañaque and Muntinlupa, and long lists across Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao, so a hotel-to-hotel or home delivery inside those areas is its standard product rather than a special arrangement. Through its trusted international carrier partners, it also supports inbound and outbound shipping beyond the Philippines.
